Meet The Founder | Erin Branham

A2 Events is the result of a lifelong love for South Florida and event planning. I’ve always been drawn toward productions and coordinating logistics. As the daughter of the artistic director and founder of Ballet Palm Beach, I never saw myself as an entrepreneur until the moment I was one though!

When I began working at a local non-profit, I found my niche in large scale event planning and began to connect my marketing degree to my experience in events. During my time at Coral Ridge, they underwent a rebrand and a new direction. The events I was planning provided a tangible representation of the new direction for the organization. I worked to plan festivals, retreats, banquets, and national conferences.

After five years in that role, I founded Apartment Two Events now known as A2 Events to pursue new challenges in the world of corporate meeting planning, conferences, retreats, and experiential marketing. I love to work through events to carry out marketing goals and strategies for an organization, strengthening their brand. A2 has grown so much since we first started. We’ve had the opportunity to plan events in New York, LA, Minneapolis, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, and Dallas and of course here in South Florida. We’ve expanded our offerings, our clients and our staff, and I couldn’t be more proud of our boutique company!

I live in Fort Lauderdale with my husband Jimmy and our two daughters, Isabelle (9) and Evelyn (6), who provide lots of love and a little distraction. We love traveling with them, and I hope I make my little girls proud!

Favorite event ever worked on: The most exciting event to watch come together was a conference in Manhattan. It was our first New York event, and when we arrived one of the airwalls had just broken! We reworked the whole room usage, and it turned out perfect.

Favorite thing to do in time off: I love to enjoy South FL culture and entertainment! Mostly, I enjoy spending time with the people who are important… with my husband it’s trying new restaurants, with our girls it’s beach days, and with my sister or girlfriends it’s shopping!
